Start : ASAP Duration : 12 months Mission : The proposed position is a Risk Quantification Lead Position within the a LNG EPC task force.
The HSE Design (HSED) activities cover four different fields: Safety Engineering, Risk Quantification, Environment Occupational Health, Acoustic Vibration.
The SUBCONTRACTOR will integrate LNG HSED team (comprised of about 15 HSED engineers) to carry out Risk Quantification activities.
The SUBCONTRACTOR will report to the HSE Design Lead of the project.
The SUBCONTRACTOR will perform the following tasks: Risk Quantification leadership: o The SUBCONTRACTOR will in charge of all HSED Risk Quantification activities and to produce some deliverables by him/herself.
He/She expected to develop deliverables of good quality considering the Project constraints (e.g.
contractual requirements, budget schedule).
o Risk Quantification engineer(s) will be assigned punctually or full time to the project; the SUBCONTRACTOR will oversee organisation of the Risk Quantification team and will be in charge of the technical checking of deliverables produced by other(s).
o The SUBCONTRACTOR is accountable for the discipline schedule and the budget.
o Feedbacks shall be formalized and shared with the Risk Quantification Department Manager.
manage interfaces with the Project Management Team, the Client, the Partners, and the other disciplines (PID Department, Process Department, Piping Material Department, Civil Department, EI Department, Package Department, etc.), and with the other involved operating centers.
Prepare/ check replies to COMPANY comments.
prepare Technical Queries where clarifications are required from COMPANY.
participate to regular meeting with Risk Quantification Head of Department.
issue weekly report to CONTRACTOR.
attend meetings when Risk Quantification representative is required.
perform the engineering activities in accordance with Project procedures developed by CONTRACTOR (ex.
Interface management, COMPANY communication, document numbering, HSE, quality…).
The SUBCONTRACTOR will be supported by Risk Quantification experts and engineers having experience on similar projects but a well-established experience is nevertheless required for this position.
Profile : The services to be performed by the SUBCONTRACTOR require the following skills and experience: Master of Science Degree in Loss Prevention Engineering, Well-established knowledge of Risk Quantification engineering activities: Consequence Modelling, Safety Studies and QRA, RAM Study … Well-established knowledge of International Loss Prevention Codes Standards and COMPANY internal Specifications, Well-established knowledge of LNG technologies, Sound judgment in technical matters with good skills in plant design optimization/modification, Working proficient in English
