We are looking for a Showroom Assistant to join our fun and supportive Hornby team in a diverse sales role. You will be passionate about customer service and work closely with other sales team members on new leads. Days and hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm four days a week, weekends are required but we can negotiate what two weekdays work for you.
We service our customers with the entire range of curtains, blinds and shutters so we have the perfect solution to suit any home.
Responsibilities include:
Creating lasting relationships with our customers based on your commitment to providing a great service
Maintaining stock through our POS and Microsoft Office systems
Providing both design and technical advice on textiles and product specifications
Making sure every customer feels welcome, understood and able to share their unique style
General shop maintenance including updating merchandise displays and housekeeping
Being motivated to keep up with the latest design trends in the interiors industry to be able to offer your customers the latest style advice
Consult with customers and lead them through our product ranges to find the best solution for them in keeping with the style of their home
