Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and automating deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes on AWS
- Enhancing the performance of AWS-hosted applications while ensuring their high availability.
- Configuring and managing AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) to align with project requirements.
- Collaborating with development teams to accelerate delivery cycles and improve product quality.
- Monitoring AWS systems to maintain performance standards and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Developing, maintaining, and improving technical components such as distributed computation and memory management.
- Contributing to the design and refinement of technical and application architecture.
- Participating in the technological transformation of the Prediction platform, with a focus on cloud technologies.
- Driving improvements in the performance and reliability of the Prediction platform.
- Automating and refining production testing, deployment processes, and associated tools.
Skills
You are an enthusiastic engineer with a background in science or engineering, ideally with initial experience in market finance (e.g., equities, futures, or high-frequency trading). You are dedicated and possess:
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
Proficiency in English.
Experience managing production-grade applications.
A proactive mindset and a drive to improve existing systems.
Substantial professional experience as a Dev Ops Engineer, with advanced expertise in AWS.
Strong scripting skills for automation (Python, Bash, AWS CLI).
Additionally, you have knowledge of
AWS-specific automation and configuration management tools (e.g., AWS Cloud Formation, AWS Code Pipeline).
AWS security practices and compliance standards (e.g., CIS AWS Foundations Benchmark, AWS Well-Architected Framework).
CI/CD and containerization tools, such as Jenkins and Docker.
Version control systems like Git.
