In this role, you will participate in further developing and refining Just’s next-generation continuous bioprocessing platform, which we are currently running in our Seattle and Redmond manufacturing facilities at 500L and 1000 L scale. This role is well-positioned to have a substantial impact on patients and the biotechnology industry.This position will be part of team to perform purification process development for early and late-stage processes and will include process development, optimization, characterization and technology transfer for intensified, continuous processes. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, efficient, curious, and works well in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively over teleconference and web-based meetings are necessary.  Responsibilities Developing purification processes for biotherapeutics manufacturing Designing, executing, and analyzing statistically designed experiments (DOE) either independently or with support from manager Documenting best practices and technical results in ELNs, SOPs, summary reports, etc. Working with vendors and manufacturers Assisting with buffer preparation when needed Transferring processes to clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities Qualifications BS or MS degree in Engineering, Biochemistry or related field and +4 years of experience Excellent attention to detail, focused when completing technical tasks Strong writing skills and efficient at documentation Able to stay organized in complex situations, keep track of multiple tasks and data Enthusiastic problem-solver Experience with Microsoft Office apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Experience with chromatography and filtration techniques and theory, Akta systems, downstream development, automation development and use of robotic handling systems a plus FR : Dans le cadre de sa politique Diversité, Evotec étudie, à compétences égales, toutes les candidatures dont celles des personnes en situation de handicap.
