For this role we are looking for someone with deep knowledge of Travel Agency and GDS processes, with a focus on Traveler Servicing, Post Booking and Automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Solution ExpertiseUnderstand customer use cases and technical needs Proactively analyze and scope the technical solution required to address customer needs Ensures required internal units (PMM, PM, R&D, Ops) are activated in the pre-sales phase Assess customers met and unmet needs, and manages customer expectations Recommend and ideate solutions that optimize value for both the customer and firm Ensures the rest of the team (other Presales & CSM)benefits from her/his expertiseTechnical IntegrationLeverage deep product knowledge to drive customization and integration of new applications Troubleshoot functional/integration issues Define technical specifications for new software Assesses the performance of new software applications Identify potential product/process improvement areas Creates custom solution presentations and/or demos and presents them effectively to customer Highlights the needs for proof of concepts and pilots, shaping the projects as such. Work alongside account manager, and CSMs to develop commercial proposals Internal CommunicationRaise and follow through solution requirements preventing Amadeus from succeeding with selling those solutions to Customers. Coordinate with internal teams to align solution design to customers’ business requirements Ensure alignment with CSM & Account Manager on what the customer needs Collaborate with Account Manager & CSM to ensure additional Business development opportunities are effectively covered and advanced Alert Account Manager of potential risks to deal closure Team Dedication Dedicated to an specific set of the portfolio across various accounts Proactively raises awareness to team members and CSMs, of best practices regarding IT Solutions It’s interested in learning best practices from team members, to apply them to her/his solution scope. Proactive to help CSM teams on Solution Expertise needs raised from customers Key Skills Sales and ConsultingExcels in unders tanding the business of the customer, to understand the solution from their perspective and propose in terms the customer will understand and connect with. Can effectively present ideas and communicate to variety of internal and external audiences, using Amadeus technical language when needed, and customer friendly language when required. Leverages data and case studies to prove the valu e of our solutions to our customers. Technical Expertise Able to deliver technical product demonstrations for most products Able to deliver technical training & respond to customer inquires Can train new employees on the product Deep Product & GDS Knowledge Has comprehensive understanding of GDS Processes and Amadeus Post Booking & Automation portfolio Demonstrate expertise in using analytical, reporting, planning, and marketing tools Up to speed with the latest solution trends and technological evolutions in the industry.
