Working closely with Chief Development Officer, the VP, Development - Southern Europe will help lead the sourcing, evaluation, and development of future YOTEL projects in the Southern European region with primary focus on France, Spain, Italy Portugal.

More specifically, responsibilities will include the following: Lead sourcing, negotiating, and closing of third party management contracts (and select leases) in Southern Europe for YOTEL and YOTELPAD projects Establish new and manage existing relationships with top private equity, high net worth and institutional investors as well as major development and construction partners Oversee detailed financial modelling and financial analyses/underwriting for regional based projects (including ground-up/mixed-use developments, conversions and other opportunities) while working closely with YOTEL’s operations and design/construction teams and external development partners, architects and designers to finalize development plans Interface with external consultants, investment/joint venture partners, and commercial real estate brokers to source new opportunities, manage transaction processes, and stay aware of current market conditions Maintain good working relationship with YOTEL’s Investors, Executives, Managers and Crew including London HQ and sister YOTEL properties and support the Company’s global growth strategy Qualifications and Education Requirements Education Bachelor's degrees (BA/BS) in Hotel Management/Real Estate, Finance, or Economics Experience Fifteen to twenty years of hospitality experience in brokerage, real estate acquisitions/development, and/or consulting The skills we are looking for are: Proven ability to source, evaluate, negotiate and close hospitality transactions and/or hotel management franchise contracts General knowledge of hospitality finance and real estate and experience analysing hotel metrics and common industry operating reports (i.e.
STR, PL statements, etc)Entrepreneurial individual with ability to work in global, fast-paced collaborative environment Professional working proficiency in French and/or Spanish Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills Experience managing analysts and associates Attention to detail Computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced use of Excel, World, Outlook, Power Point)Desire to join a global, fast-growing hotel brand and ability to work independently About YOTELWith 23 properties in sought-after locations globally, YOTEL is for people on the move.
