Fulton Hogan is looking for a Community & Stakeholder Manager to join its team for road upgrade projects being delivered for Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV), upgrading intersections, adding extra lanes, enhancing walking and cycling facilities, and providing better connections for the community.You will be tasked with leading a strong team of Community & Stakeholder advisors to deliver exceptional outcomes through strategic problem solving and leading communication between our senior management, the stakeholder and externally throughout the community. With plenty of exciting opportunities coming up within the business, we hope this is just the start of your journey with us!Your responsibilities will include: Providing expertise, advice and support to senior managers and executives on best practice communications and to be a key point of contact for the AllianceDeveloping and implementing the Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Management Plan for the project including developing and implementing relevant sub-plans, processes and procedures, ensuring they are updated as required.Developing high quality communication material to be published across a range of channels including but not limited to, online, industry publications, print media, social media that are well planned, professional and consistentPlanning and managing contact with external stakeholders, the community and local traders in a way that enhances the reputation of the project and its associated businessesIdentification of stakeholder and community issues and develop strategies to minimise impacts.Developing good working relationships with the project construction team/s and the client to ensure activities are undertaken strategically, minimising impact and disruption to stakeholders and the community.Providing advice and assistance to the project construction team/s on Project's communication requirements and timing so they are understood.Assisting in the identification, development and management of promotional opportunities for the project (i.e. media, presentations, milestones etc).Management of communication collateral and responses to all project related communications matters including via phone, email, website and social media in line with agreed Project Owner framework.How you'll connect to the role? 6+ Years working in a communications focused role is essential to be successful in this roleExperience in managing a team of Advisors is essential to be successful in this roleExperience working with construction professionals on-the-ground preferably in Infrastructure, Civil or Rail is highly desirableA consistent eye for detail, especially in written communication with spelling and grammarProven ability to advise and guide senior stakeholders on contractual requirements and best for community outcomes.
