Résumé du poste et des responsabilités / Position Summary and Responsibilities
Scope of work :
In this position of Head of Business Unit Procurement, you will be in charge to improve the Division's profitability and customer satisfaction through a Continuous Improvement approach through the following responsibilities:
Management of Direct Purchases for Grenoble and Sevilla sites
Management of the Purchasing Process
Management of Procurement team:
Purchasers and supplier quality engineers spread over several international sites (Grenoble, Chelmsford, Taipei, etc.)
Determine job descriptions, organization chart, collective and individual team objectives
Assign resources to different programs and projects, manage priorities and conflicts between projects
Organize cohesion and information sharing between sites to build team cohesion
In connection with the local managers of people in "remote management" when necessary:
Provide the necessary means
Ensure the progression and motivation of the team (annual appraisal interviews, recognition of work, training, recruitment, capitalization of experience, etc.)
Develop the skills and autonomy of the team
Management of the suppliers:
Organize sourcing for new BU needs (projects, new suppliers)
Identify market segments
Identify strategic suppliers and assess their performance
Identify the level of criticality of suppliers
Develop the supplier base through performance measurement, benchmarking and purchasing marketing
Management of internal Interfaces:
Ensure interfaces with the related services of the Division (Market Development, Technology & Product Development, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Legal)
Develop the integration of Purchasing in the upstream phase of projects (review of roadmaps)
In collaboration with the other Divisions of the group, organize the benchmarking of Purchasing performance (Costs, Quality, Logistics, Technology) on an annual basis
Business development and competitiveness
Contribute to turnover by giving Purchasing a strong Customer orientation
Contribute to the development of the Division's budget and strategy (std costs, evolution of the supplier base, capacities)
Measure progress over the year
Conduct critical (high-level) negotiations
Procurement Process Management:
Be the pilot of the Procurement Process for the Grenoble site in coordination with the other Divisions locally:
Guarantee the consistency of the Purchasing process in its application in the Divisions (performance indicators, best practices, and shared Purchasing database)
Regularly measure the performance of the process through key indicators and risk analysis,
Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the process (achievement of objectives, standardization, resources, risks, etc.)
Define and manage continuous improvement plans
Propose an Annual Division Purchasing Policy and Strategy validated by Operations Management
Exigences d'emploi / Qualifications
Desired Qualifications, Experience & Competencies :
Engineering degree
Leadership, management and coaching skills
International team management
Management of strategic suppliers
Supplier development
Negotiation
Confirmed professional experience of the buyer profession
Mastery of concepts: Total Cost Ownership, Upstream Purchasing, Purchasing Marketing, Benchmarking
Knowledge of the main businesses of the segments considered
Mastery of legal and general aspects (Legal aspects of international purchase contracts, Incoterms, Financial Analysis, purchasing to pay process)
Experience of the Semiconductors, Automotive Spacial or Electronics industry is strongly recommended.
Fluent in French and English, knowledges in Spanish would be appreciated.
