Do you want to be a key player in creating a new and disruptive global beauty destination & brand where your actions and decisions really make a difference? Then you might be our new Brand Controller /CFO at H&M Beauty.
Within the newly created Business Unit H&M Lifestyle Brands, we apply the strong heritage of H&M to new industries, to add excitement and energy to our offer and strengthening the H&M brand. H&M Lifestyle Brands includes H&M HOME, H&M BEAUTY and H&M MOVE.
At H&M BEAUTY, our aim is to capture the enormous market potential of the beauty business by making it possible for everyone to look, feel and do good. We are pioneering a new business model for the group where our own in-house beauty assortment is complemented with the latest external Beauty brands, allowing our customers to complete their fashion look with the best in beauty.
We are in the starting point of building Beauty as its own Lifestyle Brand and are working on launching external brands in more markets and channels, doing a full makeover of our in-house assortment and elevating the shopping experience in all channels, just to name a few of the things that we are excited about!

Job Description
As Brand Controller and responsible for global controlling at H&M BEAUTY you will have a CFO type of role and will be an essential part of building the new brand as well as securing its future growth and profitability. You will also be overall responsible for the expansion strategy and manage ongoing expansion projects at H&M Beauty.
You will work closely with the H&M Beauty General Manager and you will together set and follow up the management team agenda. Further, you will be a key member of the management team and part of defining strategies, executing key initiatives and developing the business. Your contribution to the management team is also expected to include that decisions are analytically solid and that the overall structure is well defined. As part of the role you will lead and manage a team of highly skilled and ambitious controllers and business analysts and expansion project managers.
The assignment and focus areas include
Responsibility for the budgeting process and the build-up of the brand’s long-term strategic plan including financial target setting and expansion
Actively monitor that budgets and key initiatives are achieved as planned including controlling cash flow and CAPEX/investment levels
Drive Expansion agenda, strategy and manage expansion projects
Drive logistical and operational initiatives as well as coordinate brand related system development projects enabling growth and profitability
Support the management team through proactive analysis and follow up of revenue and profitability to identify and pursue improvement opportunities
Be a role model for all team members within and outside the brand as well as developing your own team

This you combine with a talent for building action-oriented teams with a get-it-done attitude, and inspiring, straight forward communication. You thrive in an entrepreneurial setting and are always looking for possibilities to improve the business. You are motivated by making a difference and bringing structure to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Your skills also include
Experience from roles as CFO, senior controller or similar roles in the retail industry and including operational and hands-on responsibilities.
Previous experience from working in expansion and/or sales market is highly meritorious
Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial mindset
Proven leadership track record on a growth journey
Experience from fast consumer goods/Beauty industry or/and experience from working within a sales/country organization and from a buying department is meriting.

This is a temp position, approx 1 year, located at our creative and dynamic H&M Beauty head office at Jakobsbergsgatan in central Stockholm.
