You’re a consumer-obsessed strategist who knows how to make a brand pop in today's cluttered landscape. In this role, you will define the global event strategy vision and roadmap for Sol de Janeiro, focusing on immersive, brand-enhancing events that resonate with the company’s vibrant ethos and core values.

This role reports to the Executive Director, Global Brand Strategy & Consumer Engagement

Define and lead the global event strategy for Sol de Janeiro, focusing on creating brand-enhancing, immersive events that align with the company's vibrant ethos.

Develop comprehensive event frameworks and guidelines, ensuring adaptability and scalability for regional execution by local teams.

Collaborate with the global creative team to set the creative, programming, and engagement vision for each event, aligning with the brand's overall marketing and product strategies.

Guide high-level planning and conceptualization of event elements, providing leadership to internal stakeholders and ensuring brand vision alignment.

Manage vendor and venue selection processes strategically, fostering partnerships that enhance brand events and experiences.

Orchestrate talent acquisition strategy, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to secure brand-aligned personalities and influencers.

Oversee comprehensive event timelines and planning processes, ensuring meticulous coordination and seamless execution.

Build strategies with a deep understanding of regional event budgets, maximizing ROI while upholding the brand’s standards of quality and representation.

Ensure the creation of compelling event materials in collaboration with the creative team, enhancing consumer engagement and reflecting the brand narrative.

Champion the Sol de Janeiro brand experience at every consumer touchpoint, from pre-event to post-event, embodying the brand’s spirit of warmth and inclusivity.

Curate communications strategies pre-during-and-post event in partnership with marketing and creative teams, fostering community building among attendees.

Maintain effective management of partner, stakeholder, and internal team relationships, ensuring goal alignment and cohesive collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.

10+ years of experience in event strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong experience in developing and executing GTM strategies, preferably in the beauty or CPG industry.

Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills.

Proficient in marketing analytics tools.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Must be comfortable working a hybrid schedule (2 times per week in our NY Office + remote).
