Tasks Because this is what awaits you: As an experienced IT system architect, you will be responsible for the administration of Microsoft systems (Windows Server, Active Directory, O365, Terminal Server, CA) as well as the design and continuous improvement of the hybrid system landscape (on prem, private & public cloud). You advise and support the specialist departments with the requirements for the IT infrastructure and support them in the implementation of new solutions. You will provide 2nd & 3rd level support for the highly available virtual infrastructure (VMware vSphere / HyperV), storage (HP) and the Microsoft infrastructure (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams). You will process inquiries and fault reports and document them in the ticket system (incident, problem and change management). As the person responsible for the global IT infrastructure, you will ensure the maintenance of the hardware and software of the global server infrastructure and its documentation. In addition, you will contribute to optimizing performance in terms of availability, scalability and costs and manage & collaboration with external service providers. Requirements What do you bring with you? You have a successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with several years of experience in managing a hybrid data center (data center on prem, private cloud & public cloud (Azure AWS (Amazon Web Services)). As part of your several years of practical experience, you have extensive knowledge in the area of virtual environments (VMware vSphere / HyperV) as well as in the administration of complex server environments (HP). In addition, you have extensive knowledge in the administration of Microsoft environments (Active Directory / Exchange / DHCP / DNS) and the Microsoft 365 Suite (MS Azure AD / Entra, SharePoint, Teams) and can prove this through certifications. You have a sound knowledge of ITIL and have already gained initial project experience. You also have basic knowledge in the administration of Linux (Ubuntu).
