The In Vivo Pharmacology Scientist is responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing preclinical in vivo studies to support drug discovery and development. This role involves leading internal and external teams, supervising operational tasks to support neurology projects in early and late research phases and clearly communicating the in vivo pharmacology plan and results to the project team and relevant decision-making committees
Adhere to established in vivo pharmacology ways of working and actively promote a strong team-player mindset
Develop, optimize, and validate relevant animal models aligned with the company’s strategic therapeutic objectives
Design, plan, and execute in vivo pharmacology studies using appropriate and translatable animal models
Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare high-quality study reports, and present results to cross‑functional project teams
Ensure full compliance with internal standards and international regulations governing animal experimentation, while actively promoting an ethical culture based on the 3 Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement)
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including in vitro pharmacology, DMPK, toxicology, biomarkers, medicinal chemistry, and data science teams
Maintain accurate, detailed laboratory records and contribute to the continuous improvement and development of experimental protocols
Maintain a high level of scientific expertise and awareness of advances in the neurology field
Communicate results clearly, concisely, and effectively to support timely and informed decision-making

Experience: Demonstrated experience in in vivo pharmacology, with a strong focus on neurological research and the design, execution, and interpretation of preclinical studies.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with proven proficiency in pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling.
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Graph Pad Prism, Excel) and excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling effective contribution within multidisciplinary research teams.
Education: Ph. D. or equivalent degree in Pharmacology, Neuroscience, or a closely related biological or biomedical discipline.
Languages: Proficiency in French and English.
